The successful network of Friends Groups of Trinity Hospice has been running longer than the Hospice itself. It was originally a small group of local people who raised the first money to lay the foundations for the Hospice over 30 years ago. Our Friends still raise funds and help to spread the word about the work of the Hospice through coffee mornings, afternoon teas, quiz nights and many other events.
There are five Friends groups:
- Blackpool
- Lytham St Annes
- Over Wyre
- Poulton
- Thornton-Cleveleys
Collectively they have raised well over £1 million for us over the years. As well as organising events they provide a network of companionship and support.
