Not only do our elephants offer a special way to remember your loved one...
...they also allow you to start conversations around death and dying with family and friends, dealing with what can be known as the Elephant in the Room.
These elephants are the wonderful creation of one of our amazing volunteers, Lorna, who sought comfort in making them for her family after the death of her husband, Iain.
It is Lorna's wish that these elephants are used to support the work of Trinity Hospice, where both she and Iain received care and support in the final weeks of Iain's life, both in the hospice and in their own home.
