The best material to make an elephant is shirt. We therefore recommend you send us cotton shirts, nightdresses or pyjamas. 

Unfortunately, we cannot make elephants out of:

• Stretchy material used to make t-shirts
• Wool or jersey

These materials will go out of shape during sewing.

• We also cannot accept silk

This will fray during sewing.

Whilst we may be able to incorporate a small part of the above materials into the elephant, we do ask that you don't send them if you're unsure.

Please send two average-sized shirts per elephant. 

We will provide stuffing and thread.

We try our best to make the elephants as unique as possible, which is why we try our best to grant any special requests. This might be a special emblem, piece of material or a button, for example.

On ordering an elephant, we'll ask if you have any special requests. Please make sure you note these down as clearly as possible if you have any.

If you're able to, we kindly as that you come and collect your elephant(s) from the hospice. This will help us save on postage costs.

If however you're unable to pick them up, we can post them out. Postage and packaging for up to four elephants is £9. If you're ordering more than this amount, please ask us for more details.

We ask for a minimum donation of £25 per elephant, however you may donate more if you would like to.

All proceeds go to Trinity Hospice and the family of services we provide across the Fylde coast.

You can make your payment (including postage costs which a member of our Fundraising Team can confirm) via:

• Our 'Make a Donation' link. Please state 'Memory Elephant(s)' in the 'reason for your donation' box.
• A cheque made payable to Trinity Hospice. This can be included with the material you send us.
• Phone. Give our Fundraising Team a call on 01253 952564 (9.15am - 4.30pm, Monday - Friday)

We make every effort to get your order to you as soon as possible, however our elephants are constantly in high demand so there may be a waiting list.  We are therefore unable to guarantee a date/timeframe. We can guarantee though that your elephant will be made with love.
