Responsibility & Risk
1. I understand that by organising a fundraising activity, I do so at my own risk and expense as an independent supporter of Trinity Hospice and take full responsibility for all aspects of the event, including health and safety
2. Trinity Hospice is not liable for any injury, loss, or harm resulting from me organising the activity
Use of Charity Name & Branding
3. I will not use Trinity Hospice’s name, logo or branding without permission
4. I agree to refer to fundraising as “In aid of Trinity Hospice”, not on behalf of Trinity Hospice, and will not promote the event in a way that implies a formal partnership unless agreed
Legal & Ethical Compliance
5. I will conduct my fundraising legally and ethically, in line with the Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Fundraising Practice
6. I confirm I will abide by the Trinity Fundraiser’s Code of Conduct whilst fundraising in aid of Trinity Hospice. For more info on the Fundraiser’s Code of Conduct, please visit www.fundraisingregulator.org.uk/code.
Code of Practice
7. I will obtain any necessary licences or permissions (e.g., for raffles, street collections, venues)
8. I confirm I am 18 years of age or older
Financial Commitments
8. I will cover all costs and expenses related to the activity
9. I will transfer all funds raised to Trinity Hospice within 30 days of the event (unless otherwise agreed)
10. I will encourage donors to make Gift Aid declarations where eligible
Materials
11. Any materials provided by Trinity Hospice will only be used for the agreed fundraising activity and remain the property of Trinity Hospice
Data & Media
12. I consent to Trinity Hospice contacting me about my fundraising activity
13. Any personal data will be handled in accordance with Trinity Hospice’s Privacy Policy
Reputation & Compliance
14. I will not do anything that could damage Trinity Hospice’s reputation. Trinity Hospice reserves the right to ask me to stop the activity if it reasonably believes the activity may harm its name or reputation
