Helping us on the high street

Our shops sell a wide variety of ‘pre-loved’ items which are donated by you, our supporters, and we are always looking for more goods to sell – anything from a winter coat to an electric guitar!

It’s amazing to think that my unwanted winter jacket can help pay for hospice care

Find your local shop

We always need good quality clothing, handbags, shoes, books, bric-a-brac and jewellery, but bigger items are also in demand. Donations of toys and nursery equipment, good quality furniture and small electrical goods are very welcome.

Whether you are looking for a bargain or want to make some room at home, here’s what we are always looking for:

  • good quality men’s and women’s clothing and shoes
  • good quality furniture
  • children’s clothing, toys and games
  • electrical items such as TVs, radios, heaters and fans
  • books and multimedia like DVDs, CDs and vinyl
  • accessories, non-pierced jewellery, belts, handbags
  • bric-a-brac, crockery, glassware, bakeware, household linen and ornaments
  • unwanted gifts

All our shops are different. Some specialise in bargain buys, others have more of a boutique feel, but wherever you are, you’ll find a warm welcome.

Having a big clear out?

If you drive to our Donation Centre on Talbot Road, Blackpool our staff and volunteers will help you unload, but if you can’t get to one of our shops or a donation station at the hospice, give us a bell. Very often we can collect bulky items or multiple bags of clothing from your door.

Did you know we also re-home furniture and can help you get it to our Donation Centre? We understand that you may not be able to bring big and bulky items to us, which is why our team is on hand to come and collect it.

Use the buttons below to book your collection:

The more details you can give about your item(s), the better.

Need more help? Give us a call on 01253 395822 and a member of our retail team will be happy to help.

Our stock comes from many sources

Some is donated directly to our shops, or collected from occasional door to door bag drops. Schools and businesses also have ‘donation stations’ across the community.

Please remember, all donations must be clean and of saleable quality. If you wouldn’t buy it then we probably won’t be able to sell it! The better the quality, the more money we can raise from their sale.

Could you spare a few hours?

We always need volunteers for our shops – people with a flair for window dressing or with customer service skills; though enthusiasm and commitment are the most important qualities! If you can spare three or four hours a week or maybe more, we would love to hear from you.
