Pre-loved goods

We now have 15 charity shops throughout Blackpool, the Fylde and Wyre. Our dedicated managers and volunteers help raise vital funds for the Hospice. We sell a wide variety of ‘pre-loved’ items which are all donated by you, our supporters, and we are always looking for more goods.

Having a clear out? We always need good quality clothing, handbags, shoes, books, bric-a-brac, accessories and jewellery. Our Devonshire Road shop in Blackpool is always on the look-out for donations of toys, nursery equipment and children’s furniture.

Our newest shop is on Clifton Street, Lytham – it has a small boutique feel and some really lovely clothes, shoes and accessories on offer. Why not drop in for a coffee and a browse?

If you live locally and need bulky items collecting, just contact any of our shops or telephone us on 01253 591710 for more details.

Christmas is coming…

Looking for Christmas cards, wrapping paper, baubles or small gifts? Look no further than our new Festive  ‘shop within a shop’ at our Central Drive branch. We have a great selection of Christmas goodies as well as bargains in ladies’, men’s and children’s clothing, and items for the home.

Could you spare a few hours?

We need volunteers for our shops – people with a flair for window dressing, customer service skills or admin experience. Please call us on 01253 359374 for more details. If you can spare three or four hours a week, we would love to hear from you.

Our sources

Our stock comes from many sources. Some is donated directly to our shops, or collected from door to door bag drops. Other items are collected by Blackpool Council on our behalf, as well as by schools and businesses in the local area. We aim to offer excellent quality items at fair, reasonable prices. We are incredibly diverse in the range of products we sell, and we want to ensure both our customers and donors are happy with our service.

We sell as many donated items as we can, but any we cannot, we try to sell-on for recycling, with the proceeds supporting our charity.

Why do we have charity shops? Trinity Hospice and Brian House Children’s Hospice must raise over £5 million a year to keep our doors open and our services free to those who need them: our charity shops bring in a massive £400,000 a year.

 Volunteering opportunities

Volunteering at one of our charity shops is fun and can provide a great opportunity to meet new friends. We encourage young people who are taking part in Duke of Edinburgh schemes to work with us. We also run Training Schemes and have ‘back to work’ placement agency staff working alongside our teams. If you’d like to volunteer, you can see our latest vacancies on our volunteering page.
