James Brearley & Sons Ltd have been proud supporters of both Trinity Hospice & Brian House Children’s Hospice for many years now. When Janet got in touch about the Corporate Challenge in 2015 we jumped at the chance to get involved and help raise funds for this worthy charity. That year we raised a considerable amount of money and came in second place. Given the interest our involvement in the challenge generated both internally with our employees and externally with our clients, we jumped at the chance of being involved in the following year. Aided by the dedication and hard work again of the James Brearley & Sons team, we were very happy that in October 2016 we were crowned winners of the challenge! The only tint of disappointment though was that we raised less in 2016 than 2015. We would therefore urge others to get involved in this very worthy cause, which our team has found great fun balanced with the satisfaction of trying to help others.
We aim to continue to support the two charities for many years to come and 2018 sees one of our staff members taking on the challenge of the Trinity’s Great Wall of China Trek. We wish Sue and the other Trinity supporters the very best of luck with their walk!
