Corporate Challenge is back!
Calling all local companies: Corporate Challenge is back and it’s bigger and better than ever.
Points – as well as pounds – mean prizes this time as businesses from across Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre compete to take the title of Trinity 2015 Corporate Challenge champion.
Starting in June they have four months to turn a £50 starter fund into as much as they can. In the past two years companies have come up with some fantastic fundraising ideas from car rallies to bake-offs and from family fun days to black tie dinners.
Janet Atkins, Corporate Fundraiser for Trinity Hospice said: “We can take 30 companies and we still have a few places available. Trinity Hospice celebrates its 30th anniversary this year and we are hoping to smash our previous Corporate Challenge total to mark this important milestone.”
Last year’s Corporate Challenge raised an amazing £44,000; but this time the rules have changed. As well as raising pounds, teams can earn ‘points’ by getting involved in volunteering at the hospice, by taking part in our big events such as Colour Splash and by donating goods for our shops.
Janet said: “We wanted Corporate Challenge to evolve and to offer more opportunities for participants to get involved in other ways. It is tremendous fun and a really rewarding way of helping the hospice – some previous participants say it’s the best teambuilding they have ever done, and it’s certainly good for companies with loads of energy and ideas.”
As in previous years, each £50 starter fund has been donated by a generous sponsor, so that every penny raised will go direct to patient care.
A short film about Trinity’s Corporate Challenge has just been launched on You Tube – look for Trinity Corporate Challenge 2015 to see what all the excitement’s about.
