Savers can boost Trinity Hospice with new account
Supporters of Trinity Hospice now have the opportunity to generate thousands of pounds for the hospice each year simply by saving in the new Trinity Hospice charity account launched with Furness Building Society.
The charity savings account works on the basis of ‘You save – We give’ with the Furness making a payment from its own funds to Trinity Hospice each year, based on the total balances in all the charity accounts linked to the hospice.
So the more our supporters save, the more the Furness pays out from its own funds – not from savers’ cash, which remains safe in the building society earning a good rate of interest.
The easy access account can be opened online with as little as £1. Accounts can also be opened by telephone or by post, or by calling into the local Furness Building Society in Blackpool or Poulton.
Linzi Young, Trinity Hospice Fundraising Manager says: “The Trinity charity savings account is an easy way for supporters to generate additional funds for the hospice simply by saving in the account as little or as much as they want. The e-Savings facility makes it easy for supporters to deposit or withdraw money whenever they like, and the payment made by the Furness is based on the average balance over the whole year.”
Furness Building Society, which was named Best Regional Building Society by Mortgage Finance Gazette, is one of the top 20 building societies in the UK and is the UK’s leading provider of affinity accounts supporting charities. The Society offers a range of services to customers through 27 branches and agencies spanning Cumbria, Lancashire, Merseyside and Cheshire.
