Roy Walker to open Trinity Hospice Garden Party
Television legend and former Catchphrase host Roy Walker will make a special guest appearance at Trinity Hospice & Brian House Children’s Hospice’s Summer Garden Party this month, helping to
raise vital funds for local hospice care.

The nationally renowned comedian and presenter will join supporters, staff and volunteers at Trinity Hospice in Bispham on Saturday 22nd August, where he will meet guests and help
celebrate the incredible community support that enables Trinity and Brian House to care for families across the Fylde coast.
The much-loved entertainer is expected to be a popular attraction at the event, which promises an afternoon of family fun, live entertainment and fundraising in the hospice’s beautiful gardens.
Visitors will have the chance to enjoy live music and performances from local artists, browse a variety of stalls, try their luck on the tombola, enjoy refreshments and homemade cakes, and meet some of the people whose dedication helps make Trinity’s care possible.
Head of Fundraising, Linzi Warburton, said: “We’re absolutely delighted that Roy can join us for what promises to be a fantastic day. He is a true television favourite and we’re sure our patients and supporters will be excited to see him.
“Our Garden Party is a wonderful opportunity for the community to unite, enjoy a great day out and celebrate the difference their support makes to local people and families.

“Trinity Hospice and Brian House are at the heart of the Fylde coast, and we’re only able to provide our specialist care because of the generosity of our community. Every cake bought, raffle ticket sold and donation made on the day will help ensure we can continue being there for local people when they need us most.
“There’ll be plenty of fun for all ages, opportunities to meet our amazing staff and volunteers, and a chance to see first-hand the beautiful hospice grounds that so many people help us care for. We can’t wait to welcome everyone.”
The Summer Garden Party takes place from 12noon until 4pm on Saturday 22nd August at Trinity Hospice, Low Moor Road, Bispham. Admission is free, and everyone is welcome.
