Nurse gives back to Trinity with gingerbread decorations

One of our In-Patient Nurses, Mandy Greaves, is helping to give something back to Trinity Hospice this Christmas.

Mandy’s mum, Patricia, sadly passed away in April 2019 and spent her final days in our hospice. In recognition of the care Patricia received, Mandy decided she wanted to raise money for Trinity and luckily had a close family friend on hand to help her do just that.

80 year old Nanny Joyce has made gorgeous gingerbread decorations, which are now being sold in the Day Therapy Unit by request of Mandy. At a suggested £2 each, the gingerbread men and women have helped raise over £100… and that was in just one day!

Nanny Joyce supports a different charity each year, but chose Trinity Hospice this Christmas in memory of Patricia.
