Hospice Care Week 2019

Support us with #WhatItTakes this Hospice Care Week

Running from 7th – 13th October, for this Hospice Care Week, we’re joining the national movement of ‘What It Takes’.

Each year, we team up with Hospice UK for Hospice Care Week, a week of celebration and action. It’s a chance for everyone to reflect on the difference that hospice care makes to people’s lives and to thank everyone involved for making it possible.

That’s why we’ll be highlighting some of the less obvious, less visible staff and volunteers at Trinity Hospice, as well as looking at the different types of funding, materials and equipment that we rely on to deliver hospice care.

We’ll be sharing a variety of images and statistics at a time of growing demand for hospice and palliative care.

We really want to you to get behind us in whatever way you can. Whether it’s a donation, volunteering, visiting one of our charity shops, or simply sharing a post on social media, be sure to follow us, tag us, and use the official #WhatItTakes hashtag!

“We require a vast amount of volunteers to ensure the hospice can run as effectively as possible, as well as full and part time staff, who manage our finances, organise our amazing fundraising events, and keep everything working, from electricity to plumbing.” Simon Hellawell, Facilities Manager
