Help us complete our Christmas Wish List and ensure local people can spend their final days making memories.

When you think about home, what are the first things that spring to mind?

At Trinity Hospice, it’s the chair where a wife sits, soaking up each remaining moment with her husband. It’s the table filled with photos of the grandkids; the sofa where you all cram together and celebrate Christmas Day. These are the places people will spend precious, final moments with those they love.

This winter, we urgently need new cuddle beds, reclining chairs, mattresses and overbed tables.

Cuddle Beds

When someone is approaching the final days of their life, every moment is precious. Time spent in an extra large bed is priceless, for both the patient and their families.

Rise and Recline Chairs

Family and friends are welcome at Trinity anytime. These chairs are adjustable and fully recline for someone who wants to spend the night with their loved one.

We urgently need to replace some of our specialist mattresses, which adjust automatically and are for patients who may spend much of their time in bed.

These overbed tables ensure that patients are able to maintain a bit of independence, accessing what they need (phone, book, snacks) without support.

Sofa and Chairs

Our garden room is a lovely, welcoming space that gives families the chance to share a meal or play a game together or just sit and chat. It’s used often, so we want to replace the old, tired chairs and sofa with something new and comfortable to be enjoyed by every patient and their loved one.

The difference you could make

Last Christmas, David, just 44, stayed with us at the hospice. He and his wife Angela had a little boy, Louis; we’d have loved to let Louis snuggle with his dad, watching a Christmas movie, but our only cuddle bed was being used at the time. Help us and families who spend time with us will have all they need to make the most of their time together.
