PCB Reception Volunteer

Role Profile

Receptionists at Palliative Care Building Reception are the front-line of our greeting and telephone services for patients attending clinic appointments and visitors to office staff. They also provide a basic administration service to the fundraising and voluntary services teams.

 

Objective:

To support the smooth running of the reception.

 

Tasks:

  • To warmly greet all visitors to the Palliative Care Building and informing staff of arrivals
  • To provide administrative support to the following departments: Voluntary Services, Fundraising & Lymphoedema
  • Handling and transferring telephone calls from reception. Taking accurate messages if required
  • Accepting donations and promoting our Gift Aid scheme
  • Operating a sales till for the Reception sales goods
  • General housekeeping duties such as making drinks for our clients, ensuring stationery and leaflet supplies are maintained and helping portray a tidy image

Monday 12.30pm-3.30pm

Tuesday 12.30pm-3.30pm

Wednesday 9.30am-12.30pm & 12.30pm-3.30pm

Thursday 12.30pm-3.30pm
