I didn’t realise just how homely and comfortable the hospice is and how caring and compassionate the doctors and nurses would be.
We would urge others to get involved in this very worthy cause, which our team has found great fun balanced with the satisfaction of trying to help others.
Many firm friendships have been formed over the years and, as well as enjoying each other’s company, members have been able to support each other in times of sadness and difficulty.
I believe if I can complete a 10k, anyone can and would encourage you, no matter how young or old, fit or unfit to have a go.
