Can you complete our Blackpool Tower to Eiffel Tower challenge by cycling 450 miles?

Who is this event for and how do I take part?

Blackpool to Paris will undoubtedly challenge your physical ability, but it’s achievable for both regular and novice cyclists.

As this is a VIRTUAL event, it also means you can complete the 450 miles at your own pace and in your own way. That might be in a gym on an exercise bike, or out and about on a real bike.

Best of all, as you cross into northern France, there’s no passport required!

Virtual Blackpool to Paris is FREE to enter, but we’re asking all participants to raise a minimum of £100 in sponsorship.

100% of the sponsorship you raise will go to Trinity Hospice and allow us to continue providing vital services and care to patients across the Fylde coast. We’ll be able to be here 24 hours, seven days a week for every single person who needs us.

Although we are hopeful for 2021, the hospice continues to face huge challenges as a result of COVID-19, and will do for many months if not years to come. That’s why your support by taking part in Virtual Blackpool to Paris is greatly appreciated.

How do I sign up?

Simply complete our online form, here (individual and team entry).

The Fundraising Team will then be in touch to help you get started. We’ll also keep in touch during your challenge, helping you to stay motivated and to be on hand if you have any questions.

Sharing your journey

We’d like all participants to record their journey and share a photo at the end. Depending on how you complete it, you can send us a screenshot of a fitness app like Strava, or by taking a photo of your exercise bike screen. We’d also love to see any photos of you and/or your team too!

Once your cross the virtual finish line, we’ll send you a well-deserved certificate.
