Where does the event start and finish?

The event start and finishes outside the Sandcastle Water Park, Promenade, Blackpool FY4 1BB

What time does the run start?

The start time is 11am.

Where is the route?

From the Sandcastle, the route heads North along the Promenade.  The turning point is at The Manchester Pub and back towards the Sandcastle to collect your medal.

How far is the route?

The route is approximately 2km.

How do I get my Santa suit?

Santa Suits can be collected from the Hospice reception from 9am to 9pm, any day of the week

.Alternatively you can collect a Santa suit from the registration desk on the day of the Santa Dash.  If you do collect on the day of the dash, please note that it will be first come first served and we are unable to guarantee we'll have your preferred size.

What should I wear?

Wear whatever you feel comfortable running/ jogging/ walking in – however we’d love for you to wear your Santa suit over your clothing! Please remember it is December, so wrap up warm as it can get very cold on the promenade!

Is this event suitable for anyone?

Yes, this event is for all ages. Get all the family involved in the festivities!

Can I bring my dog?

Yes dogs are more than welcome.  We do ask if you could start at the back and kept on a lead at all times.  Please be a responsible dog owner and clean up after your pooch.

Can I bring a pram?

Of course! We do ask if you could start at the back though.

Am I able to take part in a wheelchair?

Yes.  All we ask is that you contact the fundraising team beforehand by telephoning 01253 952557 or by emailing katy.green@trintiyhospice.co.uk

Where should I park?

Limited parking is available at The Sandcastle and on nearby streets.  Please give yourself plenty of time to park and where possible car share or use public transport.

Are there any toilet facilities?

Yes, toilets will be available at the start at The Sandcastle Waterpark.

Will there be first aid cover if I need it?

Of course, we take your safety seriously and first aid support will be both en-route and at the finish line. Marshals will also be able to assist you if needs be.

I have a medical condition, do I have to let you know beforehand?

No, but please ensure you complete the medical information on the reverse of your entry number.

Will refreshments be provided?

There will be a water station at the finish line. A cup of Hot Chocolate will also be available after the Santa Dash.

Do I need to raise sponsorship?

Yes please!  The entry fee covers our costs for putting on this event.  Any sponsorship raised will go directly towards patient care.  If every runner raises just £30, this event would raise £50,000!

How do I raise sponsorship?

In your pack you will find a sponsorship form. Or if you prefer you can create an online giving page at www.justgiving.com/trinitycare - it is really easy, only takes a few minutes and maximises the amount of gift aid we can claim.

What do I do with the sponsorship money I've collected?

You can make a donation:
