Blackpool’s School Of Rock And Pop team is staging four days of Summer Rock as part of a bid to raise £1,000 for Trinity Hospice.

The Summer School takes place at Baines School from 10am to 3pm on Monday 6, Tuesday 7, Wednesday 15 and Thursday 16 August. It is part of School of Rock And Pop’s ROCK1000 initiative, which aims to raise £1,000 through gigs and holiday workshops.

 Tutor Andrew Meadowcroft said: “Our Summer School is an exciting opportunity for kids to get off Facebook and get together with other like-minded young people. It’s a positive activity and a chance to really rock out in a way they can’t do at home.”
