We are so proud to be the winners of the ‘Not for profit business’ category at last night’s Red Rose Awards, held at the Winter Gardens. Trinity faced some very tough competition – there were six shortlisted Lancashire-based charities and not-for-profits in the category. Chief Executive David Houston and  Medical Director Dr Susan Salt stepped up to receive the trophy on behalf of everyone at the hospice. The judges praised Trinity’s innovation and determination to transform and expand the services we provide. David Houston said:

“The judges recognised the enormous improvements we have achieved as we reached  our 30th year in patient numbers supported,  new services launched, excellent ‘iwantgreatcare’ satisfaction scores, Investors in People Silver, creative fundraising and retail initiatives. We deliver industry-beating growth rates and have a passion to deliver exceptional care to more and more local people in an increasingly tough climate. Well done to everyone.”

The trophy will be on display in our main Reception area.
