Lytham Festival – Volunteering Opportunities
Trinity Hospice is delighted to have been chosen once again as the official charity of the 2016 Lytham Festival (formally named Lytham Proms). This will be a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness of the hospice, as well as funds to support local hospice care.
As charity partner our responsibilities at the event encompass every volunteering aspect, from car parking stewards, bucket collectors to collecting litter.
All volunteers will be given full training, limited edition festival volunteer t-shirt and are offered a complementary pass for the Prom Arena of the festival.
What’s involved?
We are requiring all volunteers to committee to a minimum of two shifts during the festival.
- One shift will be need to be part of the Green Team – a group of litter pickers working after the event has ended on each of the Prom Nights (Wednesday to Sunday) from 5pm until 12am. All equipment is provided. Please carefully consider if this role is appropriate for you, taking into account parking in an isolated area, being on your feet for some time and the late hour in general.
- Another shift could be at any point during the week, as part of the car parking stewarding, gate entry, bucket collections, or if willing a second shift on the green. We do ask for availability and will co-ordinate our rota as best as possible around the times and days specified on your application form.
