Help Dr Susan reach her total
When our Medical Director Dr Susan Salt bravely took on the challenge of running the London Marathon for Trinity in our 30th birthday year, she set herself an ambitious fundraising target of £5,000 before the end of May.
If you followed her training blog and her account of the big day, you’ll know how hard she worked to turn from a ‘sparkling pink marshmallow’ into a runner! The good news is that her fundraising target is now very, very close.
At the last count she was approaching her £5,000 total – can you help her reach it?
Susan’s Virgin Money Giving page closes at the end of the week. This online fundraising has been topped up by generous donations from friends, family, staff and patients in the months leading up to the run.
Susan says that our patients were her biggest inspiration as she struggled through wind and rain on her early morning runs: just thinking about the huge challenges they face each day helped her focus on her own.
One final push should see her break the £5,000 barrier, and all the money raised will go towards patient care here at Trinity.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Dr Susan with donations and encouraging messages (and lots of Jelly Babies!)
