A special birthday message from David Houston, Trinity Chief Executive

Can you believe it?

It is 30 years ago today that we admitted our first patient and started a journey that has wonderfully served literally thousands and thousands of lives.

Everyone involved over that time deserves enormous credit – and that includes all of you!

Special thanks must go out to those with the passion and vision all those years ago, especially Dr David Cooper – I am hoping David may be involved in our celebrations at some point during the next 12 months.

Today, as is fitting, we are having a relatively low key celebration for those in the hospice today.  However, we have planned many opportunities for more public celebrations and parties, including a commemoration service in Blackpool – so watch this space.

Can I thank you all for your wonderful support over the years and I’m sure you will want to join me in wishing Trinity Hospice a very happy birthday.
