Giving great care – tell us what you think
Gathering real time feedback from patients and their families around their experiences of the care we give is really important. Feedback from the people who use our services helps us improve by highlighting what we do well, and showing us what we could do better.
The information is really valuable because it can lead to changes in the way we do things that can benefit patients now and in the future – but collecting people’s views isn’t always easy.
We know people have busy lives, and filling in comments cards and questionnaires in the hospice doesn’t always make it to the top of their ‘to do’ list. That’s why we have recently started to use ‘iWantgreatcare’ for patient feedback. It is already having a big impact: in the first two months we received 75 completed questionnaires, and now giving us feedback has never been easier.
Each department within the hospice will display monthly results and soon we will have a link from our web site home page so that it’s quick and easy to leave feedback online.
Have you or has a loved one had great care at Trinity? Have you got some comments to give us to help ensure we get things right? You might have a good idea that would benefit many other patients and relatives in the future.
Take a look at trinity.iwgc.net. If you have used our services, you can leave your views and help shape what we do and how we do it. Ask a member of staff for more details or pick up a card at the hospice.
