Everything stops for tea
The Lytham St Annes St George’s Day Festival has quickly grown to become a five day celebration of all things British – and this year Trinity Hospice will be receiving 25% of the money it raises for charity.
We are really pleased to be asked to take part in such a high profile and fun event, and will be hosting an afternoon tea dance in the spectacular Lytham Green marquee on Wednesday April 24.
A classic afternoon of dancing to the Bill Barrow Quartet and vocalist Lynne Fox has a slightly unusual twist – a fish and chip lunch provided by Whelan’s of Lytham! Tickets are on sale now at just £10 each.
Trinity’s Community Fundraiser Lisa Martin said: “A tea dance is a new event for us, and we hope it will be a popular addition to the St George’s Day celebrations. Over recent years the Festival has built up an enthusiastic following on the Fylde Coast and we are really looking forward to being a part of the unique atmosphere.”
