Children’s hospices benefit from X Factor single
Will you be watching the X Factor final on Saturday? This year’s X Factor winner’s single will be sold in aid of the children’s charity Together for Short Lives.
Simon Cowell has announced that his company will donate all profits from the sale of the CD and download to Together for Short Lives; which means Brian House will receive a share, along with dozens of children’s hospices and specialist children’s care services all over the UK.
The X Factor finalists will perform the song live during The X Factor final in Manchester. The song will be available to download once the winner is announced.
Simon Cowell has worked closely with Together for Short Lives for many years. He said: “Together for Short Lives is such an inspiring and important charity for so many kids and their families who really need help and support. These hospices are really happy and positive places and are a complete lifeline for so many families.”
Jane Molyneux, Trinity’s Fundraising Director said: “In recent weeks The X Factor has highlighted how important hospice care is to children and young people with life limiting illness. It’s lovely to think that Brian House will receive a donation from the profits of the winning song. I’m sure many of us will be watching Saturday’s final with interest.”
