#1MillionHours – BBC Radio 1
BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra have lauched their #1MillionHours campaign this month…
And you can get involved by volunteering for Trinity Hospice!
The aim is to see listeners pledge 1 million hours of time to good causes over the next 12 months.
Ben Cooper, Controller of Radio 1 and 1Xtra, says:
“I want BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra to be a force for good in the UK and magnify all the positive work that young people do for others, so we’re very proud to be working alongside some of the most experienced organisations in the country to reach 1 million hours of volunteering.”
Want to know how you can help at Trinity?
We have a chain of 15 retail shops, all in need of extra pairs of hands to sort stock, create displays and serve customers.
You’ll need to be reliable and committed to helping us do our good work to ensure we can provide the best possible service to our customers.
Ensuring our shops are successful are essential for providing funds to support our patient care, so you really would be in the heart of the hospice!
Who can help?
If you have a few hours to spare, you could be part of our story…
- Parents with young children
- Retired and semi-retired people
- Students
- Unemployed people looking to improve their skills/job prospects
