Biggest ever hospice charity shop now open
Trinity Hospice open the doors to its biggest ever charity shop this weekend, bringing an exciting new shopping destination to Blackpool while raising vital funds for local hospice care.
The new Trinity Hospice Superstore opened on Ashworth Road, next to the Febland showroom, on Saturday, and staff and volunteers are ready to welcome customers through its doors.

Housed within Febland’s former warehouse, the impressive new store spans 8,000 square feet across two floors, making it the largest retail venture in the charity’s history.
Packed with quality pre-loved clothing, furniture, jewellery, homeware and one-of-a-kind finds, the superstore offers bargain hunters and sustainability-minded shoppers the chance to discover something special while supporting a worthwhile cause.
Every item sold helps raise vital funds for Trinity Hospice and Brian House Children’s Hospice, ensuring families across the Fylde coast continue to receive expert, compassionate care when they need it most.
The opening marks another major milestone for Trinity Hospice’s growing retail operation. Larger-format stores have become increasingly popular with shoppers looking for affordable, high-quality items and a more sustainable alternative to buying new. The charity’s existing superstores in Blackpool and Cleveleys have already attracted visitors from across the North West, and the new Ashworth Road site is set to build on that success.

The store has only been made possible thanks to the continued generosity of local people. Donations from supporters across the Fylde coast help keep the shelves stocked and provide a steady source of income for the hospice. From furniture and fashion to household goods and jewellery, every donated item plays a part in helping fund essential hospice services.
Trinity’s Head of Retail, Paul Guest, said: “We’re incredibly proud to have opened our biggest ever shop and create a fantastic new destination for shoppers in Blackpool. This superstore showcases the very best of charity retail, offering great value, quality pre-loved items and an enjoyable shopping experience, all while supporting local hospice care.
“Every purchase and every donation helps make a difference to patients and families across our community. We’re hugely grateful to everyone who supports our shops and we’d love people to come along, explore the store and see what treasures they can discover.”
Whether you’re searching for a bargain, refreshing your home, hunting for unique pieces or donating unwanted items, a visit to Trinity Hospice’s new superstore is a simple way to support local hospice care while giving pre-loved treasures a new home.
The superstore opens at 10am, and will be open daily for top-quality pre-loved bargains and to accept donations.
