Hospice fashion shows are sustainability and charity in action
Trinity Hospice is putting on two events to showcase the high-quality ladies’ fashion, menswear and accessories to raise money for the hospice’s 40th anniversary.
The hospice, which boasts a total of 33 shops across Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre, will host the fashion shows on Thursday 9th October at The Dalmeny Resort Hotel, St Annes, and Friday 17th October at Poulton Community Hall.
Tickets to each event cost £15, which includes a welcome drink and nibbles.
The shows form part of the hospice’s Retail Team’s drive to raise £40,000 on top of regular sales through their shops. Already efforts have included a three towers cycle at the shop on Highfield Road, Blackpool, and in-store events such as raffles.
The fashion shows are being organised by shop managers Lesley Muldoon and Giulia Rostron.
Head of Retail, Paul Guest, said: “This is a significant year for Trinity, celebrating 40 years of providing outstanding care to people across the Fylde coast on the journey towards the end of life. As the hospice’s presence on the high street, it provides an exciting opportunity to do more through our shops with the incredible support of our customers and donors.
“It’s amazing to see the creativity of our teams coming up with new ways to raise money, and these fashion shows will not only raise much needed money for the charity we are all so proud to work for, but will also shine a light on the wonderful donations we receive in our shops.
“We know sustainability is fashionable, and we can’t wait to welcome guests to these events so pre-loved fashion can do more for local hospice care.”
Tickets are only available in Trinity’s Poulton shop on Ball Street or its Kirkham shop on Poulton Street.
