I’ve even got plans to run to my Christmas dinner! Its a huge commitment but Im determined to see it through.
Many people have the wrong impression of a hospice, believing it is a place of sadness and despair. It is a place of support, safety and calm. Friendships are made, solidarity abounds; we help and hold each other up when it’s needed. I loved working with the Trinity team.
The gardens are used by all as place of peace and renewal. Tea, sunhats and conversation are good medicine.
I would encourage anyone interested in volunteering here at Trinity to ‘go for it’. I find my role exceptionally rewarding and I will continue to volunteer for as long as I possibly can
