Volunteering is a two-way thing. We help Trinity and this in turn gives us such pleasure and a reason in life.
I get a lot of satisfaction from being a volunteer driver for Trinity.
Volunteering gives me a chance to make a difference for someone in my local community and I get a great sense of achievement knowing I can make someone’s day.
Many people have the wrong impression of a hospice, believing it is a place of sadness and despair. It is a place of support, safety and calm. Friendships are made, solidarity abounds; we help and hold each other up when it’s needed. I loved working with the Trinity team.
The gardens are used by all as place of peace and renewal. Tea, sunhats and conversation are good medicine.
