Following on from last year’s tremendously successful return for The Golden Eagle Music Festival, we are once again holding the event. Whether you’re going to be gigging, shifting gear, rattling tins or just soaking it all up, thank you to everyone who is helping to make this a hotly anticipated event yet again… 1 venue, 2 charities, 3 days, and 22 superb local bands!
Over the coming weeks we’re going to be releasing featurettes on all the bands, profiles of significant festival contributors and building up to the release of the full band schedule when everything’s finalised in early May.
It’s going to be mind-blowing, but let’s not forget why it’s all happening and why nobody working on the festival is taking one penny out of the pot, because everything is going to Trinity Hospice and Brian House. The brewery are again volunteering a generous contribution, so everyone is playing their part. We raised over £5,000 last year, so thank you very much to all who donated.
But however much of a great time you have at the event, please remember that its success can only be truly judged by how much goes in the pot, so please give generously, let’s see if we can better the total raised last year!
