Meet our Trinity Menopause Champions
This Network isn’t just for women of a certain age, it’s for anyone in the organisation, whatever age, whatever gender as menopause can also have an impact on those supporting someone going through the menopause. This could be, for example, a relative, partner, colleague, carer or a line manager, so awareness by being part of the conversations is key.
Our Menopause Network came off the back off a Schwartz Round on the subject, where three brave ladies shared their menopause story.
They were:
- Kim Lilley (Clinical Educator)
- Karen Gray-Thornton (PA to the Medical & Clinical Directors, Assistant Clinical Director and Palliative Medicine Consultant)
- Lucy Worthington (Fundraising Assistant)
Each has signed up to be a Menopause Champion through our Network, helping to support colleagues and ensure that menopause and its impact is part of the conversation at Trinity.
The Network is also very fortunate to have support from Elinor Silcock from the Department for Work and Pensions. Elinor is a true pioneer in this area as she is leading the Menopause Network within DWP to over 1100,000 employees and she actively supports menopause awareness outside of work with advice on fitness and nutrition.
