Wonder women – look gorgeous and party!

Calling all Wonder Women across the Fylde Coast – we want you to join us for the biggest party on the Prom to raise money for Trinity Hospice and Brian House.

The annual Illumathon takes place on Saturday September 6th and this time the theme is Super Heroes, so dust off those capes, boots and satin hotpants and help make it one of our biggest and best events ever.

As usual, the event starts from Sainsbury’s in Bispham, but for the first time we have brought the start time forward to 10.30pm – which means you can be home again and getting some beauty sleep by 2.30am.

Illumathon launch 2014 - staff

There are five or ten mile routes to choose from, with music from Radio Wave at the start and a hot ‘hog roast’ snack at the end. Our special Illumathon t-shirts are bright yellow with a comic strip flash of red, and everyone gets a walker bag to keep too.

For many ladies, walking the Illumathon is all about remembering someone special and for the first time we will be setting up a Memory Board for messages.

Sign up to Illumathon today – you can do it from this website – or call us for more details. It costs just £15 and is a guaranteed great girls’ night out.

The earlier start time means that we are getting more mums, daughters and grans walking together than ever before!  All the money raised by Illumathon goes towards patient care. Sponsorship isn’t essential, but did you know that if everyone taking part raised £50 we would make about £70,000 in one night.

Good to Go, girls

Call in at Hospice Palliative Care reception if you want to buy any extras for your costume. We have fluffy bunny ears, tutus, feather boas, elbow length gloves and more. Let your imagination run wild and make sure you look gorgeous!
