And they’re off! The six Tower2Tower cyclists raising money for Brian House as part of the Hospice Heroes appeal have set off from Blackpool Tower.

Their goal – in six days – is to reach the Eiffel Tower in Paris and to raise £20,000 in the process.

The intrepid six – all from Lytham and St Annes – have been busy fundraising in the weeks leading up to their journey. The money is going towards the cost of the remodelled and redecorated bedrooms in Brian House.

The ride is one of the last big events for the amazing Hospice Heroes appeal, which has smashed its original £200,000 target and now stands at just over £240,000.
