Must Dash! Thank you Santas big and small
Sunday’s Santa Dash was a brilliant success, with Santas big and small turning the Promenade into a river of red as they ran or strolled along a breezy Blackpool seafront.
As usual there were some amazing outfits, and lots of families turned out to support us – complete with pet dogs – to make the Trinity Santa Dash the ‘official’ start of the festive season.
The lovely Hayley Kay got everyone in the mood with a live Radio Wave broadcast from the Sandcastle, and Dan Whiston was the Dash starter, along with the one and only Father Christmas. Our wonderful Hospuss took part too.
Linzi Young, Trinity’s Head of Fundraising said: “We really love the Santa Dash and this year’s event was fantastic, raising money for patient care here at Trinity Hospice and Brian House. It really felt like Christmas is getting close, and it was lovely to see so many families having such a lot of fun.
“I want to say a big thank you to everyone who makes the event such a memorable one, from our friends at the Sandcastle to our wonderful volunteers, it really is a massive team effort.”
