Got a classic car…or a combine harvester?
It’s still January – and the Trinity Hospice Corporate Challenge won’t begin officially until summer – but the first event is in the calendar and revving up to be one of the biggest yet.
The Car Carnival Mark III, organised once more by Wareings of Kirkham, will take place on Sunday 31st May, from 1pm-3pm on the Green at Wrea Green.
Including super cars, classic and vintage motors of all makes and models – and probably a tractor or two – entries are now being taken.
This will be the third annual Car Carnival in aid of Trinity Hospice and it has raised several thousand pounds in the previous two years. Wareings are very enthusiastic Corporate Challengers and will be making a determined bid for the overall title of top fundraiser in 2015.
Last year’s Corporate Challenge results were announced at a celebration lunch at the White Tower restaurant, Blackpool and it was a fantastic opportunity for participating businesses to meet other competitors from across the Fylde coast.
You can download a Car Carnival entry form below. Completed entries should be sent to Sally Wareing, Wareing Buildings, Whinbrick Works, Blackpool Road, Preston, PR4 2RJ together with a 9” x 4” stamped addressed envelope.
There are prizes for the best vehicles on the day, and it is a great event for all the family.
Trinity’s Corporate Challenge is open to businesses from across the Fylde Coast, who are given a £50 starter fund and challenged to turn it into much more. The 2014 Corporate Challenge raised an incredible £50,000 for the hospice and we hope to beat that in what is our 30th birthday year. Contact the Fundraising team for details of how to take part and to register as a competitor business for 2015.
