Events season now in full swing – come and join us!
Spring is definitely here, summer is just around the corner and that can only mean one thing: events season is in full swing here at Trinity Hospice and Brian House.
The Bubble Rush got us off to a spectacular start in April with 1,500 people enjoying some foamy fundraising fun. Money is still coming in but we hope to top £50,000!
The Beaverbrooks 10K saw around 2,000 participants race along Blackpool Promenade on what was a glorious day (if a little warm for the serious runners!) and it was wonderful to see so many people taking part in memory of a loved one cared for here at the Hospice or by our community nursing services.
Thank you to the amazing club runners for setting such a fast pace – but a huge well done to all the fun and fancy dress runners too, who really make the event such a spectacle.
We are now gearing up for the annual Bike Ride on June 3 and Colour Splash on June 10.
Online entries are open, so why not get involved in our wonderful summer of FUNdraising for Trinity and Brian House?
Don’t forget the special one-off event supporting Trinity Hospice on June 2 – our Patron Alfie Boe performs his ‘homecoming’ concert at Fleetwood Town Football Club, and £2 from every ticket sold comes to the hospice. A fantastic gesture from Alfie and from Fylde Coast promoters Cuffe and Taylor. Thank you!
