Come to our Summer Fair
We are hosting a grand Summer Fair here at the hospice on Saturday July 4th and hope to see as many friends and supporters as possible.
Our wonderful Friends’ Groups from across the Fylde Coast are involved in running many of the stalls and games, helped by our fantastic volunteers and staff from both Trinity and Brian House. It promises to be a really enjoyable afternoon, and coincides with our annual Sunflower Memory event in the gardens.
Linzi Young, Trinity’s Head of Fundraising said: “The Summer Fair is a wonderful way of celebrating our 30th birthday and will bring together many people who have been supporting Trinity for much of that time. Many supporters will remember the summer fairs that were part of Trinity’s early days. It’s really good to be bringing the event back as part of our 30th birthday year.
“The display of sunflowers in the garden will make it a very colourful occasion and we hope to see some old friends and a lot of familiar faces.”
There will be live music in the gardens – which are looking fantastic, thanks to our gardening volunteers – and refreshments will be available. There is no admission charge and the Fair opens at 1pm. There will be cakes and crafts, a tombola, raffles, lucky dip, treasure hunt, plant stall, jams and preserves and much more.
Visitors will be able to see our spectacular display of sunflower plaques, dedicated in memory of loved ones. They make a bright and beautiful display and are a lovely way of remembering someone special and helping raise money for Trinity at the same time.
If you would like to make a donation and dedicate a plaque as part of Sunflower Day, contact our Fundraising team on 01253 359362.
If you can donate any tombola or raffle items for the day, please get in touch. Your support is always much appreciated.
