If the end of season blues are setting in there’s no need to worry – Brian House has the perfect antidote as football fans wait for Euro 16 to start.

Fundraisers at Brian House have organised an adult five a side tournament on Sunday June 5th. Teams already signed up include Radio Wave, James Brearley and Sons, Tiger Sales and Lettings and Smiths Equipment Hire, plus many more. There are some great prizes for the winning team and it promises to be a fantastic day’s footy, with medals for all competitors.

The tournament is the idea of our Corporate Fundraiser Janet Atkins, who says: “We have some very keen little footy fans at Brian House and wanted a way for the beautiful game to raise some money for the hospice.

“We have had plenty of entries but could fit in another couple of  teams, so anyone interested should give me a bell as soon as possible. It’s going to be a lot of fun but also, I think, quite competitive on the day.”

The entry fee is £250 per team, and the tournament will run as a mini league followed by a knockout, using four pitches at Play Football, Blackpool. Participants must be 18 or over.
