Trinity Hospice recommend that where possible participants should walk with an acquaintance or stay with other participants.
4. We kindly request that NO DOGS, except assistance, PAT and authorised security dogs are brought along to the Blackpool Colour Run. This is in the best interest of your family pet and all those participating. However, please note that the beach is a public place and there may be dogs off the lead that belong to walkers in the area that are unconnected to the event.

POWDERED PAINT
1. The ‘paint’ is actually natural corn starch, mixed with 0.5% fluorescent tint (5000mg/kg) in the paint pouches and food grade corn starch with less than 10% cosmetic grade colour in the paint station ‘paint’. It can be inhaled in small quantities without adverse affects, but we’d recommend those with asthma to seriously think about the potential affect of airborne powdered paint and their condition.
2. If you’ve had skin reactions to powdered paint previously, we’d recommend a test patch at least 48 hours prior to the event, by using your paint pouch provided as part of your entry pack.
3. This product is meant to be thrown directly onto the body avoiding the face. If anyone is seen to be throwing paint intentionally towards a participants face, or throwing paint at another participant/volunteer against their wishes, that person will be given a warning and asked not to do so. If this becomes a repeated occurrence the participant will be asked to leave the event.
4. Please see the following symptoms and effects the paint may cause. Trinity Hospice is not liable for any adverse effects.
5. Ingestion: This is not allowed, however if this does occur the participant should drink plenty of water.
6. Inhalation: If paint is inhaled, the participant should remove themselves from the area into fresh air. Participants with asthma or any other respiratory conditions are asked to strongly consider if this event is suitable for them to take part in. If you are concerned, but wish to take part, use a bandana or dust mask to cover your mouth.
7. Skin Contact: The paint may cause temporary stain on the skin. This will wash off with soap and water.
8. Eyes: If paint should come into contact with the eyes, participants should flush eyes with plenty of water. Participants who wear contact lenses are recommended to exercise extra caution. Trinity Hospice recommends that eye protection is worn.
9. Trinity Hospice suggests that participants should wear old white clothing. Trinity Hospice are not responsible for the staining of clothing.
10. Trinity Hospice also suggest that your transport is protected from the paint powder. For example covering car seats in plastic to avoid participant’s car from becoming covered in powder paint.
11. Trinity Hospice requests that participants avoid throwing paint close to vehicles and technical equipment.
12. Event participants bring mobile phones and other technical equipment at their own risk. Trinity Hospice cannot take responsibility for any damage to participant’s personal items.

1. We welcome family and friends to support participants and spend a great day at the beach with us during Blackpool Colour Run.
