On the day entry
You can still sign up on the day, the registration will open at 9.30am and is located inside the Sandcastle Waterpak. Due to demand, we don’t have any more Santa Suits for those registering on the day, however we will provide you with a Santa hat. Alternatively you can wear your own Santa suit or festive best to make sure you get into the Christmas Spirit!

Important Information for Participants
Santa Suit Collection
All packs have now been posted out. Inside your pack, you’ll find a Santa suit voucher.
Santa suits can be collected from Trinity Hospice main reception until Friday 5th December at 12pm. On Sunday, suits will also be available to collect from Blackpool Sandcastle Waterpark from 9:30am.
On the Day
Wrap up warm and wear your Santa suit over your clothing. Your race number must be pinned on – and please make sure you’ve completed the medical details on the reverse.
Arrive at Sandcastle Waterpark from 10am, ready for the dash to start at 11am.
Parking and Travel
We recommend car sharing or using public transport. Blackpool Council has kindly provided free parking at South Beach Car Park until 1pm (first come, first served). Please allow plenty of time to travel – we have over 2,000 Santa’s registered!
The route
Run, jog or walk the route (approx. 2 miles) from the Sandcastle Waterpark to the Manchester Pub and back dressed as Santa. Our special friends at Santa Comes to Town will be ready to greet you at the turnaround.
Facilities
Sandcastle Waterfalls café will be open to purchase snacks and drinks. Hot drinks will also be on sale by Froth me Silly located outside the Sandcastle. Toilets are available inside of the Sandcastle.

Giveaway
We’re proud to say that, courtesy of The Kentown Wizard Foundation we are able to hold the Santa Dash cash prize draw again this year. Which means that if you take part in this year’s Santa Dash, you will automatically be entered on the day.
Prizes include three chances to win £250 and five chances to win a £50 Smyths Toy Superstore voucher. To be entered into the draw you MUST BE registered for the Santa before 10.15am on Sunday 7th December.
Any entries after this time will not be included in the draw. The live draw will take place on stage at Blackpool Santa Dash at approximately 10.40am, winners participant numbers will be announced.
How your support helps
Brian House Children’s Hospice provides specialist care and respite for children with life-limiting illness in Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre completely FREE of charge. By taking part and fundraising you help us to continue to provide this much needed care. There’s no minimum fundraising requirement but we do ask each Santa to try to raise £30.
