How to raise sponsorship or make a donation

  • Raise sponsorship online through JustGiving: set up a page and share it across social media, in emails and via WhatsApp.
  • Fundraise offline and collect in the money using our paper sponsor form: if you don't just want to ask people to sponsor you, think outside the box. You could host a bake sale, sell unwanted items online or at a carboot, or even run a sweepstake asking people to guess your chip time.
  • Make a one-off donation: just use our online donation form.
  • Keep an eye out for marshals with 'Tap to Donate' machines and collection buckets at the event itself. Or, head over to our Donation Station. Cash and card accepted.

Ways you can support Trinity Hospice

Raise sponsorship

There are lots of ways you can raise sponsorship and collect in money, both online and off. JustGiving is our recommended platform, but you can also set up a Facebook Fundraiser

Make a donation

We understand that not everyone wants to raise sponsorship. Instead, you might like to make a one-off donation of your choice to Trinity Hospice.

Put 'fun' into fundraising

There are lots of creative ideas to raise funds. Think raffles, collection buckets in your workplace, bake sales and sweepstakes.

You'll be helping to support people like Alex and her mum, Sheila

Alex joined us for Blackpool Memory Walk last year just weeks after losing her mum, Sheila. She raised an incredible £1,115 in sponsorship by sharing her story.

“I didn’t know what to expect when I heard Mum was going to the hospice, but the whole place and the people who work and volunteer there are just inspiring. They helped to make it as lovely an experience it could be when you know your mum is coming towards the end of her life.”

Alex quickly signed up to Blackpool Memory Walk with her partner, sister and two best friends in an effort to give something back to the charity that had done so much for her family.

“It was such a special event. It was tough, emotionally, but Mum would have wanted me to do it. It pushed me to do something for such an important charity and there were hundreds of people there doing the same thing. We were all together.”

Alex and her team set up a JustGiving page and was blown away by how much sponsorship the group raised.

“Unless you’ve had an experience at Trinity, it’s hard to believe how truly amazing it is,” she said.

“People don’t understand that the hospice isn’t part of the NHS. But every single person who works or volunteers there is absolutely amazing. It’s important to me to give something back when people have been so good to you. And I encourage others to do the same for this incredible charity that needs us.”
