Blackpool Glow Walk (formerly Blackpool Memory Walk) is a wonderful chance for people to join together and remember those no longer with us all whilst supporting Trinity Hospice. Walk together under the iconic Blackpool Illuminations to remember those you’ve lost, in support of hospice care.

Information for participants
T-shirt Collection
If you still need to collect your t-shirt, you can do so from the Hospice Main Reception until 12noon on Friday 10th October. Or you can collect it from our team on the Comedy Carpet on the night from 6pm.

Start/ finish venue
The walk starts at the Tower Festival Headlands at 7.30pm, we will also have lots of entertainment in the build up from 6.00pm. Please note if you have made a dedication for the memory video this will be played at approximately 7pm. There will be lots of merchandise available to buy on the evening, including tutus, light up glasses, necklaces and more!
Routes
Blackpool Glow Walk offers two routes (2.5 and 5 miles) under Blackpool illuminations and is suitable for individuals, families and groups of all ages and abilities. Both routes start on the Tower Festival Headlands and head north. The 2.5 mile will turn at Gynn Square and the 5 mile route turns at Red Bank Road, Bispham.
Facilities
Toilets will be available on the Tower Festival Headlands, there are also public toilets along the route. We recommend bringing a bottle of water to carry throughout the walk, a bottle of water will be provided at the end of the walk.
There will also be a number of vendors on the Tower Festival Headland providing refreshments throughout the evening.
What to wear
Wear a comfy pair of shoes and dress for the weather. Please ensure you are wearing your walker number on top of your t-shirt and that the information on the reverse is completed.

At Trinity Hospice, we provide compassionate care on the journey towards end of life. We want everyone on the Fylde coast to have access to good end-of-life care, in a place of their choosing; the hospice , the hospital, a residential nursing home or their family home.
