Virtual Beaverbrooks Bike Ride - Terms and Conditions

 

Please read the following terms and conditions before entering. By entering onto the Virtual Beaverbrooks Bike Ride you are agreeing to the terms and conditions. 

 

REGISTRATION 

  1. Participants must submit an official registration form with the correct non-refundable registration fee.
  2. All ages are welcome to take part in the Virtual Beaverbrooks Bike Ride, under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
  3. The Virtual Beaverbrooks Bike Ride pack includes a sponsorship form and medal which will be posted out to participants.
  4. Participants can complete their chosen distance anytime, anywhere until Thursday 31st July 2025.
  5. The registration fee contributes to the cost of the event and includes your entry pack and fundraising materials. All other funds donated or raised in sponsorship go toward patient care provision at Trinity Hospice.

SAFETY

  1. Participants taking part in Trinity Hospice virtual events do so entirely at their own risk and are 100% responsible for selecting a safe route to run.
  2. The Virtual Beaverbrooks Bike Ride involves a level of sustained physical activity. Participants make the decision to take part and must be satisfied that this activity is suitable for them as individuals. Trinity Hospice cannot be held accountable for aggravation to illness or injury sustained due to participation in this activity.
  3. We strongly advise that all participants wear appropriate footwear and clothing, Please make sure to wear something hi-vis if training at night to ensure safe and enjoyable participation.
  4. If you are taking part on your own please inform your next of kin, don’t forget to carry a fully charged mobile phone
  5. Each participant should read and fully adhere to the Golden Rules. These are enclosed in the rider packs issued to each participant after registration.

SPONSORSHIP

  1. Participants can raise sponsorship via an online sponsor form which can be set up at justgiving.com/trinitycare or by setting up a Facebook Fundraiser at https://www.facebook.com/fund/TrinityHospiceAndBrianHouseChildrensHospice/
  2. Please ask all those who sponsor you to tick the Gift Aid box where applicable, so we can make their donation go 25% further for our patients.
  3. Sponsor forms are included in your entry pack and must be returned as soon as possible after the event, along with all the lovely funds you have raised.
  4. All funds raised by your participation in events in support of Trinity Hospice are raised for the sole purpose and benefit of Trinity Hospice (registered charity no. 511009) and those who receive the support from its services.
  5. We ask that all sponsorship and donations are returned to Trinity Hospice by 5th September 2025. By doing so, Trinity Hospice can make sure that we are on target to achieve best possible care to those who need it. You can return your funds via cheque made payable to "Trinity Hospice", along with your sponsorship form to Trinity Hospice, Low Moor Road, Blackpool, FY2 0BG.

HOW TO PROVIDE YOUR EVIDENCE

  1. After completing your Virtual Beaverbrooks Bike Ride, participants can submit a photo of yourself taking part or alternatively a screenshot/photo of your Strava route/ fitness tracker/ treadmill display. You can either post this on the Trinity Hospice Virtual Beaverbrooks Bike Ride Facebook page or email it to trinity.enquiries@trinityhospice.co.uk.
  2. By emailing photos to us, you agree to give Trinity Hospice permission to use your photos for future marketing purposes.
  3. Trinity Hospice reserves the right to update its terms and conditions in relation to the Virtual Beaverbrooks Bike Ride at any time prior to the event.
