Fundraising Resources

Fundraising doesn't have to be a direct ask for donations; there are lots of fun and creative ways to raise funds. Here are some ideas to get you started:

  • Hold a bake sale at your school, community group or place of work. Take a look at our Bubble Rush recipes for some ideas!
  • Buy lots of snacks (healthy and not so healthy!) and let people know they can help themselves in return for a donation of their choice
  • Put on a a coffee morning
  • Make a hamper and raffle it off (our charity shops sell new and used items you could buy to use)
  • Host an event and ask people to pay an 'entry fee'. Think cheese and wine night, games or quiz night, bingo, a girls' pamper night or even just a get together.

Whatever you decide to do, don't forget to download and print a paper sponsorship form so you know who's donated what. It will also allow us to claim GiftAid, which will help take the overall amount raised for Brian House even higher!

You can also use JustGiving alongside your paper sponsorship form. Once you've set up a page, keep sharing your link on social media and in emails.

If you're feeling tech savvy, you might want to consider creating a QR code leading to your JustGiving page too. This way people can scan it and make their donation online instead.

Post-event

  • If you raised sponsorship through JustGiving, you don't need to do anything! The money will automatically come to us. Read more here
  • If you collected money offline, there are a number of ways you can get it to us. Scroll down to 'How do I get my sponsorship/donations to you?' on our FAQs page for all the details.
  • And if you weren't able to raise sponsorship but would like to show your support for Brian House, you can make a one-off donation. No amount is too big or too small; everything adds up and helps us to provide life-changing, specialist care and support to families across the Fylde coast.

Ways you can support Brian House

Raise sponsorship

There are lots of ways you can raise sponsorship for taking part in Blackpool Bubble Rush, both online and off. JustGiving is I recommended platform, but you can also use Facebook Fundraiser and our paper sponsorship form.

Make a donation

We understand that not everyone wants to raise sponsorship. You may not feel comfortable asking for money or you may have supported another cause. If you would like to support Brian House though, you can make a one-off donation here.

Sponsorship form

We'll send you a sponsorship form in your participant pack but if you want to get a head start, you can download and print one here. This can be used alongside or instead of a JustGiving page and is a great way to keep track of offline donations.
