Terms & Conditions

For reasons of health, safety and responsibility, I, the Participant, agree to abide by and comply with the rules set out by Born Survivor Events Limited (“the Organiser”) as published on their website www.born-survivor.com (“the Rules”). I confirm that I have read and fully understand them.

I further understand that ignorance of these Terms and Conditions and the Rules will not be accepted as an excuse, and non-compliance may lead to disqualification from this event and exclusion from future events organised by the Organiser.

I confirm and agree as follows:

  • If I am disqualified from participating in the event due to my breach of the event Terms and Conditions or the Rules, I will not be entitled to any refund of fees paid or reimbursement of expenses incurred.
  • Participants are not entitled to take part in any event until full payment of all applicable fees has been received by the Organiser.
  • Any tickets, wristbands or other entry entitlement items issued remain the property of the Organiser and may be reclaimed in the event of a breach of the Terms and Conditions or the Rules.
  • Unless authorised by the Organiser, all tickets, wristbands or entry entitlement items are for the sole use of the person they are issued to. I may not give, sell or transfer these to any other person, either commercially or non-commercially.
  • I must sign an Event and Medical Waiver Form before participating. Failure to do so will result in immediate disqualification from the event.
  • I assume all risks and take full responsibility for any damages, personal injury, costs, liabilities or losses incurred due to participating, except for personal injuries caused by the negligence of the Organiser.
  • If I withdraw from the event at any time for any reason, I am not entitled to a refund of fees paid.
  • If I withdraw, I may transfer my place to another person or defer my entry (subject to an administration fee). However, from 12:00hrs on the Friday one week prior to the event, no changes, transfers or deferrals will be accepted under any circumstances. Transfers and deferrals can only be made once and must be requested by email to hq@born-survivor.com. Telephone requests will not be accepted.
  • Team discounts are subject to the team reaching the minimum number of participants for the discount level applied. If the minimum is not met, I may be liable to repay the discount in part or full.
  • The Organiser reserves the right to modify the course, route or obstacles, or to delay or cancel the event in the event of a man-made or natural emergency (including but not limited to Covid-19 or other disease outbreaks). No refunds will be issued, but I will be entitled to transfer my entry to a future Born Survivor event, to be delivered as soon as reasonably practicable.
  • I will follow the lawful directions and instructions of event personnel and behave courteously towards all staff, participants and spectators.
  • I will act in a way that ensures the safety of myself and others, including competitors, spectators and staff, at all times during the event.
  • The minimum age to participate is 16 years unless otherwise advertised. I confirm that I will be at least 16 years old on the day of the event.
  • I am responsible for arranging my own personal accident insurance and for my personal belongings at the event.
  • If requested, I will present photographic or acceptable identification at registration. Failure to do so will invalidate my participation, with no entitlement to a refund or compensation for any related costs (training, travel, accommodation, etc.).
  • I understand and agree that all motion pictures, images, and audio recordings of me taken during the event remain the property of the Organiser. I grant permission for their use in marketing, promotion and advertising.
  • I understand the events may be held in prestigious or sensitive locations. I will respect the environment and comply with any published biosecurity practices.
  • I will not participate in any event while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • By entering Born Survivor for free, you're agreeing to raise a minimum of £200 in sponsorship.
