Trinity Hospice provides leading palliative care and support to people across the Fylde coast.

It also offers a range of services for patient's families, including counselling at our Linden Centre.

Over the last several months, like many organisations, we have worked tirelessly to fight against COVID.

COVID-19 has undoubtedly had a huge impact on the hospice; not only for our staff but for our patients and their families. It's also caused massive financial implications.

As a result, we've adjusted the way we work to meet the demand for care; increased our In-Patient capacity; and helped our friends at Blackpool Victoria Hospital and local care homes to look after those battling with Coronavirus at the end of life.

What's more, we've introduced many virtual events to try and compensate for the shortfall that's come from having to cancel all our live events. We've been very fortunate in that people are keen to take part and get behind Trinity and Brian House through these opportunities, as well as by creating their own fundraisers.

We also launched our Urgent Appeal back in April, which raised an enormous and unexpected £135,000 (and counting)!

We really can't thank our supporters enough.

Despite these challenges, we're continuing to do everything we can to ensure that we provide vital care to people across the Fylde coast.
