Housekeeping Assistants

20 hours per week

Hourly rate £12

Are you looking for a role where you can really make a difference?

We are looking for Housekeeping Assistants to join our fantastic Housekeeping team at Trinity Hospice.

The Housekeeping team is key to ensuring that our Hospice – both clinical and non-clinical areas are cleaned to the very highest standards and a welcoming environment for patients, visitor’s and staff.

The successful applicant will have experience of carrying out cleaning duties in a public building, ideally a healthcare environment. Don’t worry if you haven’t worked in this type of environment before, as full training will be provided, but you will need to have a commitment to the aims of the Hospice and to work across the clinical areas.

The successful candidate will be joining an established team, and an organisation which is highly rated by the people who work there.  The 2023 Staff Survey found 98% of respondents enjoy the work that they do, 96% were proud to work for our Charity and 96% enjoy working with the people within the organisation.

Trinity Hospice is a great place to work and has achieved an outstanding rating with the Care Quality Commission and Investors in People Gold accreditation.  If you are looking to join a thriving, innovative organisation which puts passion and care at the heart of all its services then this may well be the post for you.

Our Staff Benefits:

  • 38 days annual leave each year, pro rata (inclusive of Bank Holidays)
  • Various Health and Wellbeing benefits including annual flu and Covid-19 vaccinations, access to complementary therapy and counselling.
  • Pension scheme, or NHS Pensions are transferable
  • Enhanced Maternity/Paternity benefits
  • Being part of an organisation with an exceptional reputation

We welcome informal discussions – please contact Gary Howard, Housekeeping & Maintenance Manager on 01253 358881.
