Trinity Hospice is one of the best known charities on the Fylde coast. Together with its dedicated children’s hospice, Brian House, we support more than 2,000 patients and families each year, believing everyone on the Fylde coast deserves access to the very best end of life care.
This is an opportunity to join the busy Finance Department where we are always looking to improve processes and controls. This is a well-rounded role where you will be exposed to a variety of tasks.
You should be able to show initiative and be able to think on your feet. Working well within a team and being able to prioritize workloads accordingly is essential. It is very important that you are an organised person and can work well under pressure.
The ideal candidate will be AAT Qualified or similar or studying towards your qualifications. You should be able to liaise with key stakeholders to follow up and resolve any queries. You will be required to keep to a month end time table requiring you to manage your time effectively. You will have a focus on accuracy and not be frightened to challenge the way things are done.
You must have previous experience of working in a finance function and working with Excel. Previous use of SAGE or a similar accounting system would be an advantage.
Occasional attendance at Fundraising events if required to provide support to the Fundraising Team as our fundraising activities go hand in hand with the services and care we provide.
