Activity Co-ordinator

18 Hours per week

Salary £23,662 to £26,407 pro rata

Trinity Hospice has been at the heart of the Fylde coast for more than 39 years, providing compassionate care for people on their journey towards the end of life. Our dedicated specialist nursing teams touch the lives of thousands of patients and families each year, with one vision for the future – that everyone across Blackpool and the Fylde coast has access to high-quality end-of-life care.

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen to support patients and carers across Trinity hospices services.

Our ethos is that our patients and carers are supported to ‘Live well’ with a focus on ‘What matters to them’.

This new role will enable patients to lead independent lives by taking part in recreational activities of their choice. Allowing them to explore new opportunities and existing interests in a person-centred way.

The post holder will work alongside a team of multi-disciplinary professionals to develop an activity programme, facilitate groups and individual interventions to support patients in their goals both in a clinic and inpatient unit setting.
