Regular donations are vital for the long term funding of Trinity and really do help us plan for the future with great confidence. Any support you can give, however small or large, is so important to us and will go directly to supporting our patients both today and for the years to come. Giving in Celebration
If you are looking for an alternative present in lieu of birthday, anniversary or wedding, why not ask your family and friends to mark your special occasion with a gift to Trinity? We will acknowledge all your family and friends’ donations and keep you posted on how much you have raised.
We have a range of special occasion cards which you can buy, making a donation to Trinity on someone’s behalf. We can also supply Trinity ‘place cards’ for weddings. Call our Fundraising Team on 01253 359362 to discuss your special celebration and to find out more.
Giving in Memory
Making a donation in memory of your loved one is a wonderful way to celebrate their life. We are always extremely grateful for these special donations and no matter what size they are, they help make a real difference to our patients.
Whether you’re walking our illumathon, taking part in our annual Bike Ride, dressing up for our Santa Dash or doing your own event, you can raise money quickly and easily online via Justgiving.com. It even calculates Gift Aid (where eligible) and passes the extra money on to us. This means that a £10 sponsorship donation can mean £12.50 for us.
You can now show your support for Trinity Hospice when you use Savoo Search, Save and Raise as your online shopping platform. Your efforts cost you nothing because Savoo donates on your behalf. Find out more here savoo.co.uk/#trinityhospice
Under the Gift Aid scheme, we can claim an extra 25% from the Government on every eligible donation made by a UK taxpayer. So on a £100 donation we can reclaim £25, making the total donation worth £125 – at no cost to you, or us.
When you donate you will be asked to confirm whether you are a UK taxpayer. Gift Aid can only be reclaimed on donations made by people who pay UK income or capital gains tax at least equal to the amount reclaimed on their donations in the current tax year.
Alternatively, complete a Gift Aid Declaration Form and return it to us by post at:
Low Moor Road

Help generate a cash payment to us each year without it costing you a penny!
Under an arrangement we have made with Furness Building Society, if you open a Trinity Hospice affinity savings account they will make a payment to us each year based on the average total balance held in all the Trinity affinity savings accounts.
You receive interest on your savings in the usual way and have easy access to your money should you need it. In return for this, Furness Building Society will make a payment to Trinity each year from their own funds, not from your savings or interest.
It’s a win–win situation for all of us: you receive interest on your savings, Furness Building Society attracts new savers and we receive a much-needed payment from them each year to help with our running costs.
Opening an account could not be simpler:
- Open your account online by visiting the Furness website: www.furnessbs.co.uk
- Call Furness direct on 0800 834312 for an application form
- Download an application form and send it through the post
- Call in to your local Furness Building Society branch or agency. You can find out all you need to know by visiting http://www.furnessbs.co.uk/community/affinity-accounts/trinity-hospice-charity-account/
To all our supporters who already have one of these accounts we want to say a big ‘thank you’. To those who have yet to open an account we would urge you to consider saving in one of these and help generate an even bigger payment to us next year!
